MTN DEW AMP GAMEFUEL Call of Duty $35K PRO-AM Charity Event

In 2019 Thunder Studios hosted the first-ever Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Celebrity PRO-AM, sponsored by MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL in the Thunder Gaming eSports Arena. The event included six teams of Call Of Duty pros paired with some of the biggest celebrities from music, and sports and entertainment. The line-up consisted of Shroud and D’Angelo Russell, C3CZ and Vince Staples, Priestahh and Blake Anderson, Formal and T-Pain, Scrump and Karl-Anthony Towns, and Aydan and Ajiona Alexus. Players engaged in a series of traditional 6v6 multiplayer CoD matches in addition to getting to try out the new Gunfight 2v2 mode, more than a month before the new Call of Duty Oct. 25 title release. The intense gameplay closed out in an epic showdown between T-Pain and FormaL versus Karl-Anthony Towns and Scump with KAT and Scump as the ultimate champions – which featured a prize of $25,000 to donate toward The AbleGamers Charity, MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL swag, and the winning title. A secondary donation of $10,000 was also contributed to the Call of Duty Endowment (CODE), totaling $35,000 in the amount of donations produced from the charity event.
